Watch Marshmello tease his forthcoming Roddy Ricch collaboration

For a personification of the term “strike while the iron is hot,” look no further than Marshmello. Dance music’s saccharine song spinner resisted the cover of Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 issue just days back — a career milestone that performs over newsstands — while Marshmello’s latest , “Happier,” lasts its cozy reign on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.  While Marshmello could certainly revel in present success, the producer is rather training his eye about what’s next, and what Marshmello’s ensuing move involves is one with ascending rapper Roddy Ricch.

Marshmello has experimented with the electronic/hip-hop hybrid on previous releases like the Logic-aided “Everyday” as well as the posthumous Lil Peep collaboration, “Spotlight. ” The electronic/hip-hop hybrid vehicle is a stylization where Marshmello evidently has a penchant, and as the helmeted artist has yet to reveal a formal release date for its forthcoming single, it’s clear from the preview the monitor will arrive as a idiosyncratic and forward-thinking spin on contemporary digital and rap constructions.
