However, what’therefore the next step? The answer lies inside reality. Though today & rsquo offerings may feel underdeveloped folks everywhere are embracing this technological advancement more and more. VR’s growing pains aside, here’s a listing of ways that virtual reality has been spanned into by the digital music market.
1. Marshmello’s Fortnite Event

Presently, Minecraft’s servers have seen Open Pit’s Coalchella, Fire Festival, along with Minegala, in Addition to Chandler Riggs’ Pixel Festival. Artists who have played at these virtual events include big names such as What So Not, Flosstradamus, STS9, Virtual Riot, along with Droeloe.
3. Wave VR Platform
Wave is just one of many companies supporting the burgeoning virtual reality music industry, and among their large focuses is EDM. Using Steam or Oculus, Wave brings equally curated experiences and events to people who have a VR headset. They have partnered with artists such as The Glitch Mob, TOKiMONSTA, also Imogen Heap to make fully immersive virtual music surroundings, while also producing VR live events together with performers like Rezz, Kill The Noise along with Jauz. Their most recent event was the live virtual concert for Church of Galantis.
