Ryan Tedder Set For Verizon’s ‘Pay it Forward Live’ Streaming Series
Ryan Tedder has a date today, to pay it forward. Even the Grammy-winning songwriter, producer and lead singer of OneRepublic is the upcoming featured artist to join forces with Verizon as part of the recently-launched streaming entertainment collection Pay it Forward Live.
He also ’ll perform tonight from his home on a livestream at 8:00 p.m. EST / 5:00 p.m. PST on Verizon’s Twitter, Yahoo! along with Fios Channel 501. The function is part of Verizon’s coronavirus initiative to aid tiny companies.
Tedder follows Dave Matthews, who kicked it off with a house concert a week prior to passing the baton to a Fortnite match between DJ Marshmello along with FaZe Clan’s Nate Hill earlier this week.
“As rsquo & we;re all feeling at the moment, small companies are a enormous part of our lives,” said Tedder in announcing the information. “I’m grateful that I am ready to participate in an initiative. ” Over the course of Pay It Forward Live, audiences are encouraged to tag local companies while doing what they can to encourage them.

Verizon will contribute $10 to encourage tiny companies — up to $2.5 million — even when the hashtag #PayItForwardLive is used. Verizon Business is also supporting small companies by preparing foods for health care workers together with New York City restaurants along with six hospitals.
That initiative supports both the restaurant workers and hospital staff on the front line. Meals have been doled out seven days a week in April at no charge to hospitals or employees. Delivery and ordering is handled by Grubhub, which donated its services. Participating restaurants include Blue Restaurant, Bella Notte, Dino, Dosa Royale, Locksmith Bar along with Mimi Cheng’s. Medical centers getting food comprise Maimonides Medical Center and Hospital for Special Surgery.
“Healthcare workers are emotionally and ill putting themselves on the front of this fight against COVID-19,” said Tami Erwin, CEO of Verizon Business Group. “And for smaller companies — particularly restaurants — social distancing’s effects is real. This is a chance to bring these groups together, giving a purpose and resources to continue restaurants, and also a little gesture of thanks and comfort to emergency and hospital workers in New York City. ”
Tedder can next be seen on NBC’s Songland, in which he serves as mentor and a producer. The competition series returns April 13.
