Demi Lovato Turns Down Marshmello’s Marriage Proposal in ‘OK Not to Be OK’ Teaser: Watch

But Marshmello, however Demi Lovato is spoken for.

On Saturday (Sept. 12), two days after dropping their inspiring new collaboration “OK Not to Be OK,” Lovato shared a humorous video on Instagram of herself politely rejecting a sweet union proposal from your helmeted DJ-producer.

“You know I love you @marshmellomusic… however uhhhhh @maxehrich produced his movement first,” that the 28-year-old pop superstar captioned the lively clip, which comprises “OK Not to Be OK” playing in the background.

Back in July, Lovato declared she and boyfriend Max Ehrich had obtained their connection to another level by getting engaged. The couple was romantically linked since March.

Lovato and Ehrich confirmed their connection in May by creating a surprise appearance from the music video for Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s quarantine tune, “Stuck With U.”

From the official video for “OK Not to Be OK,” Lovato and Marshmello fulfill their younger selves after waking up in classic suburban bedrooms. A young ‘Mello rolls around the lawn and rides his bike through the area, even though a young version of Lovato trashes her teenaged bedroom.

“OK Not to Be OK” intends to encourage outreach during National Suicide Prevention Month, but also serves as a useful reminder during a stressful, judgmental year for everybody.
