Olivia Rodrigo Bags Third Consecutive Chart Double In Australia
The Olivia Rodrigo reign continues in Australia.
The American teen phenom rules the ARIA singles and albums charts for the third successive week, with “Good 4 U” (Interscope/Universal) and Sour, respectively.
“Good 4 U” is one of Rodrigo’s eleven tracks in this week’s Singles Chart Top 50, as “Favorite Crime” (Interscope/Universal) opens at No. 13 for the week’s highest debut on the ARIA Singles Chart.

The second best start this week belongs to another Californian teenager, Billie Eilish, whose “Lost Cause” (Interscope/Universal) opens at No. 18. It’s the fourth song to chart from Eilish’s forthcoming sophomore album release Happier Than Ever, due out July 30.
Also new to the ARIA Singles Chart this week is Dean Lewis’ “Falling Up” (Island/Universal), at No. 48. It’s the ARIA Award-winning Sydney artist’s first appearance in the national Top 50 in two years. “Falling Up” is lifted from Lewis’ upcoming second set, the followup to his 2019 leader A Place We Knew.
Marshmello and Jonas Brothers sneak into the ARIA Top 50 with their collaboration “Leave Before You Love Me” (Universal), which debuts at No. 50.
With Sour locking up top spot on the ARIA Albums Chart, Crowded House’s comeback album Dreamers Are Waiting (EMI) starts at No. 2, for the beloved New Zealand-Australian outfit’s ninth Top 10 album. The band’s last album, 2010’s Intriguer, went to No. 1.

There’s some rumbling in the top tier as The Avalanches’ classic debut 2000 album Since I Left You (Modular/EMI) reenters the chart at an all-time high. Since I Left You gets a push from a 20th anniversary release campaign, which includes bonus remixes from the late MF Doom and others. It’s the best-selling vinyl in Australia this week, as the LP blasts to No. 5 on the all-formats chart.
Finally, British indie-rock act Wolf Alice earn a new career high with Blue Weekend (Liberator/Universal), their third album. It’s new at No. 9.
